I guess I'm an old fart because I remember 27 cents when I was a kid
  2. 285/70R17 with Fox Performance 2.0 level kit

I have an Icon stage 3 kit set at 2" lift with UCA's with the same wheel & have 265/70R70 Goodyear's. Zero rubbing at full bump. I'm pretty sure you'll need to modify or eliminate the crash bars with that large of a tire. One of the reasons I went with that tire was because I didn't negatively...

  7. where can i find plugs for these holes in the bed?

I work at a John Deere dealership and have access to a large selection of various plugs. JD has an excellent spec chart of what's available. If you provide me the dimensions of the holes I might be able to come up with something and get you some part numbers.
  8. How long for the Ranger smile to fade?

Only 800 miles but love it more every time I drive it. Ford really did their homework on these awesome trucks. I don't see my smile going away anytime soon.

  10. What is something you love, and something you dislike about the Ranger?

I agree about the cooled seats. We've been between 118-120 this last week & needless to say it's been a been difficult to want to drive it for the first 15 minutes

  12. Crazy Owl story

Phil, that's absolutely beautiful. At times I think we should just slow down & enjoy all that nature has to offer and be thankful for all we have.
  13. engine start stop

I probably shouldn't say this, but it isn't very hard to train yourself to reach over & push the button after you start it. Kinda like it's not hard to wipe after taking a dump. We were trained to do that too.
  14. Crazy Owl story

We actually see them quite often. We're lucky enough where there's so much wildlife. People would be amazed if they only knew how much life is the desert southwest. You name it, we see it from Deer to woodpeckers and everything in between.
  15. Crazy Owl story

So Monday morning about 5:30 a.m. I was sitting on my back porch I heard a couple of bangs and a scratching sound to my right where my carport is located. Picture my boat on the right, new Saber Ranger in the middle & my gray 94 on the left. As I heard the sounds I looked and saw a HUGE Owl on...

Finally finished up the build today. Icon stage 3 suspension kit the tubular UCA's. Icon wheels and 265/70R17 Goodyear Wrangler Ultraterrains. Drives very well on the street and exceeded my expectations in the desert. I'm extremely pleased with how it turned out,

There's nothing like an old school Ranger with a good 6" lift & 33" BFG's. Gotta love them.
