I do not think Ford has the manufacturing capacity to do that yet.
Also Toyota is opening a new Taco manufacturing plant in Mexico and expanding their Texas plant.
Market is going to flooded with them.
I think one reason you see less Tacos north and know it is around here is winter is hard on...
Ok I do appreciate the feed back..
I was going to take it for another test drive for sure, I never even got it on the highway. My test drive was just to see if the Ranger was even a option for me and see how the 4cyl actually was. I like the engine and transmission combo. Only thing is I miss...
Yea I knew that it was used in the F150 and it really is not the transmission that bothers me it is the hole shudder thing at a certain RPM and the drive shaft issue. It has been a solid transmission.
I did not feel that shudder when I took the Ranger for a test drive but I was mainly looking at...
I got to admit I am a little skeptical about buying a Ranger right now.
I was really starting to put the Ranger on the top of my list but all this has me pausing for a bit.
This truck was going to be long term and I have not had good long long term with Chevy.
They are ok if you trade a vehicle...
Yea there is like 6500 in rebates that are for like first responders, students, farmers, military etc.
Really has not changed.. Still 1000.00 and 1500 trade in assistance. Actually I thought the trade assistance was higher before.
If I could get 10,000 off I would buy tomorrow..
Right now...
Agreed..
We have more and more.
The small ones seem to be no issues but we have some that are larger roundabouts. The one near work I have to lock my brakes weekly in the roundabout. Always someone who wont stop even though they have signs and a giant yield on the road. I usually see them...
Yea remote start is a part of package 302A.
If remote start was built in why not included it with them all then?
I hear what you are saying.
My problem is the options I want like remote start, heated seats etc makes the Ranger more expensive than the Colorado. 2800.00 dollars added just for...
Ok so you do need remote start option on the Ranger to use the app remote start..
Some posts said the app would without it having remote start on the truck...
I could not find out info either way. Fords website on it is not the greatest.
That is important for me especially on those 20 below...
All I know is I was able to log into it today no issues and I am not paying.
I still get alerts like last week I got a oil change alert on my email. With the app and online I was able to check everything from my driving to tire pressure.
Yesterday I used the remote start.
I think it might be a...
I agree they will figure it out.
That is why i think I am lucky I got the Colorado when I did and waited till Ford works out the bugs.
Like I said before my next truck is long term and I have never had luck with a Chevy long term even though I love my Colorado..
Chevy just never acknowledges...
You know it is great Ford offers this.
I am not aware of any other truck manufacturer offering something like this.. There could be I just am not aware of any.
I am assuming if installed by Ford it would keep from voiding any warranty issues that after market can.
Probably not because it is through AT&T..
I think I know the reason the Fordpass is free. On my Chevy they have something called My Chevrolet which sounds almost exactly the same as Fordpass, it was supposed to be free for a year and I just started my truck yesterday with it. So at some point...
I see a real price war latter next year for mid-sized trucks.
Ford will most likely have more production on the Ranger as they refine production..
Toyota is opening a new Tacoma plant in Mexico in Dec and ramping production in their Texas plant. Should be flooding the market with Tacomas.
Could...
So this is a normal thing and isn't not going to be fixed?
When I test drove the Ranger I never felt it. I guess I need to test drive it again. This is one of those things that once I feel it will always bug me. I did see a reviewer say something about it but thought it was just their review...
