I agree with you on the size. My OEM standard is too small to be practical and wish it had come with the next size up. This is the only feature on the truck that I'm dissatisfied with. At lease it has good resolution. Its not worth it for me to upgrade to a larger screen.
Looks like it includes the hardware which is a plus...some owners have received the covers without it. Do you plan to add a strip of split pipe insulation to the seam on the firewall for extra water dripping protection?
Thanks for the input. My wells were clean when the engine cover was installed so I should be good to go. Also just installed some pipe insulation on the firewall seam above the cover as an additional step for protection.
I live in Albuquerque and just wondering if the dry desert climate is keeping the plug wells moisture free or if it is the engine cover (which I also have) protecting them?
Went to Lowes and picked up a strip of split rubber pipe insulation (3/4 ID) with sticky edges (8.50), cut it to size and attached it to the seam on the firewall to help prevent water from getting into the spark plug wells. Washed the seam then swiped with isopropyl to assure that insulation...
