Right on. I got these panel removal tools from Amazon and they were helpful when I needed to get to the hood latch and adjust it after installing the Bugflector II.

I liked this method too, gave me a chance to learn how the panels came off and see what's behind them. I wear between L & XL size gloves and have the same problem scratching my hands when getting into tight places.
George, I used the alternate method in the link below from the manufacturer and it worked really well for me. No damage or clip issues...:)

Sorry to hear that! It is my go to place for knowledgeable personal advice (unlike Lowes and Home Depot where you are fortunate to find someone who has even a vague knowledge on what you need) on projects. I love their ample selection of individual screws, nuts, washers, bolts; parts; etc...
Bob, Thanks for the input. This does not work on my Ranger. When I 1st got the truck I tried waiting 15 minutes like the manual recommends and then 4 hours (the reading improved at this point but still iffy) before checking the dipstick. The oil is partially suspended and does not drain...
