At first, I would get the full error in the notification tray (see first pic in my original post) and that would clear to a little red battery icon that would eventually disappear.

New battery in place & BMS reset. All of the anomalies that I mentioned in my original post seem to have resolved...... so far! Finger's crossed. Thanks for all the input!!!

A potentially stupid question if I may? If you bypass the BMS, do you need to do all the brights/brake pedal stuff?

Thanks for this! I didn't even know that resetting the BMS was a "thing"! I would have just swapped in the new battery and went on about my business. Lol.

Picking up a new Interstate battery tonight after work.

I work probably a mile and a from my home so yes, most of my trips are short. Every now and again we do go on a bit of a drive, but not often.

I hadn't really paid attention but, the auto stop system has not been active lately.

It is the original battery that came with the truck in 2019.
