After 20 months of owning my ranger other than paint chips that I'll fix later the truck runs like a dream. I'll say it's pretty well built in what I see it as a truck. Nothing will be pretty forever so enjoy the truck

I gotten the 4x4 selector with the TM button for $40 just need to get myself the scantool and I can go activate the TM. still waiting for the cold to finish and resewing the seats before install

After this post scared me I checked my frame and didn't see any rust other than what was bare metal. Maybe some are unlucky with rust.

Hey I dont blame you on that. I know if i mod my vehicles I wouldn't go after a company for it unless its truly their fault. Plus if I was in this situation I would see it as an excuse to put a different engine in the ranger

That's why I always go with 4x4 vehicles just incase I need to get unstuck. Hopefully they get it fixed

Honestly most of the Rangers features can be added to lower trim levels

well for your answer on if the XLT has the wiring for the heated electric seats, no they are missing the key wires for them but they do have the same clips to connect the sets to the truck. Since they seats i got still have both of those clips im going to swap the new seats wiring clips onto my...

I paid 500 for both of mine though one had two tabs and some scratches so I talked the seller down on that and the other was better but had one top tab so knocked off 100 off it

I noticed a few chips but nothing crazy though I might get it repainted and have a better clearcoat later down the road
