I placed an order on November 25. Emailed them this morning and received a response back right away. Here is the response:
your rock sliders are at powder coat now. I’ll have them back Tuesday or Wednesday of next week and ship shortly thereafter.

Hello Dan.
The cap is an ARE ordered through Fuller Truck Accessories. It was the first or second production cap they made, I've had it for a month or so. Its not the quality of a Snug-Top but I am happy with it.
Rory,
Met you at the aFe cars and coffee a couple weeks ago, my truck is in WA this week but it is usually available for tests. I am in Rancho Santa Margarita.

I live in CA and have experienced the no-fill problem at a few stations. I have found that if you pull a little past or stay a little short of the dispenser so the hose and nozzle are on an angle, it fills to the top just fine.
Plastic fenders are more likely the culprit than the hood.
My passenger side fender tucks under the hood slightly and probably could be shifted towards the driver's side slightly but the rest of the hood alignment is spot on so I'll leave it be. No issues with doors, tailgate or hood.
