Agree, pretty disappointing. In my country, the only compact pickup with a center differential you can lock/unlock is the Mitsubishi Triton/L200/Strada, so you can go 4H pretty much when you feel like it. I was vaguely tempted to get it just for this feature, but it's fairly mediocre at...
I guess I should've specified what country I'm in. We've got the Euro Raptor in Asia Pacific too (Asia, Australia, New Zealand). Incidentally, this was the curvy slippery road I was describing. Typical Asian road that's just concrete, no asphalt. But yeah, since it was pretty twisty, I decided...
Would you ever do it?
I've got a Ranger Raptor on stock BF Goodrich K02s. I noticed this weekend that they didn't have good wet weather grip (conditions: mountain road, up and down inclines, slippery due to a thin film of mud/soil). Would you turn on 4H in these conditions? I didn't because I...
Thanks! Exactly, GVM info is so easy to find for the Ranger, so I don't get why it feels "hidden" for the Ranger Raptor. I see pics of loaded up Raptors, shocks compressed, and I suspect a lot of owners don't know the payload is significantly less than a Rangers. I wonder if the company thinks...
Kinda weird, I can't find a figure for total payload online. The various reviews and even official Ford websites have payloads ranging from low 600kgs to high 700kgs (I guess each country makes different assumptions regarding number of passengers and fuel?). Even the Raptor supplementary manual...
Oh, haven't posted my actual truck, sorry about that. New owner from the Philippines, just brought it home from the dealer last Saturday. Good to be here :)
I'm thinking of taking it out for a cleaner look.
Also, will a heatgun or hair dryer work on the decal? I think this part of the car isn't metal, so I dunno if that trick is fine on composite (or whatever the rear fender is made of).
