Langley,check the clutch for adjustment. Most electric clutches have an adjustable air gap that may take care of yoyur problem.

If waxed i think it will come off. Back in jersey I parked my boat and motorhome in a driveway on the far side of my yard and the back of this driveway was lined in multch. Those damn things would shoot 25 feet up the side of the hull and it would take buffing or brake clean to remove it. Forget...

Dave got it before me but yep it looks like artillery spores from multch.
