it might just be long term rentals. shows the cost for the amount of time and then says "plus $0.58/mile" also it might be regional
either way a month+ time is too long in a rental for me and I didn't order the ranger based on rising tradein/sell value of my current car.
oh I know all that but not something you just want to do on a whim. As we have seen in the last 18+ months things can change quickly so right now I have a good car and don't have a truck that is built and delivered to the dealer. Plus I live in north texas no need to risk my life by riding a bike
well as of now carvana is still the highest quote I have but the dealer site was only 3k lower(for what that is worth as they can always go lower when they really see it) I am still a month+ away from the ranger getting here and my current car is my only car so I would have to rent and those...
I had a rental truck once that had this "feature" and I didn't notice. When I stopped at a light and the engine "died" I freaked the f' out. quickly figured it out but first thought was that I didn't want that in any car I owned. probably won't go as far as adding the autostop killer thingy...
wanted to see what areas of a new ranger to go over that people have had issues with one they took delivery.
IE hood not being aligned, not enough turn signal fluid.
don't see a reason for the OP not to be upset and ask for basically a refund/exchange. While simplistic and kind of apples to oranges, If it was something as small as a tv that would stop working after few days and verified that it is not working constantly by the store after 6+days of having...
but do you have any paper work saying you and the dealer are doing x plan? I technically told the dealer I was using x-plan (but it was just mention in passing) when I put in an order for a maverick. I then emailed that I wanted to change the order to a ranger and got a order sheet with price...
it is just easier to ignore him. I am also interested to know the answer since I will not be running off road. My dealer is quoting $600 for install of a readylift level. no clue if that is way over price. I am sure it is on the higher end at least since it is a dealer
there is a post floating around that if you plug a night light into the 110 plug in the back it will disable the auto start/stop without you doing anything. (I think someone said it needed to be polarized connecter where one of prongs is bigger than the other so it plugs in only one way).
