Received my collars in the mail yesterday and I'm going to install them on Thursday. I have a crew cab Lariat with the FX4 package. I'll chime back in on here once I get things in and settled. Right now, I'm sitting all stock with the wheels and tires. I have a set of fifteen52 Traverse HD's...
So how long were each of the backer rods that you used? Were all three 1" in diameter?
Also, my truck needs to go to the dealer for other reasons and I'm curious as to what they will do for this? I wonder if they have any fixes in the work?
I've been reading every single post about fitment and clearance that I can't seem to find a definitive answer. Again, this is for the factory 18" Lariat (FX4) wheels.
First and foremost, I like the wheels so I just want meetier tires, a little better fender flush, and the least extreme leveling...
SVC's product looks pretty legit but after looking at the Eibach kit you are having installed, man. I think I may have to spend a few more to do just that.
Has anybody with the FX4 package went with the Eibach Complete Pro-Truck Sport Shock & Strut Kit (E80-35-048-01-22)? If so, how did the ride improve or degrade comparing to the factory "Ford Tuned FX" shocks/struts?
So, the Rough Country spacer you're using is just a spacer? It didn't replace the spring perch itself? I'm looking at the SVC Offroad leveling collar and now you have me worried that just doing something like this will cause the same issues (clunking) you're having. I really don't want a super...
You wouldn't happen to have a straight on side view photo of your truck with these collars installed, would you? This looks EXACTLY what I'm looking for but I want to see how level it actually is. The angle you posted is kind of hard to decipher the leveling look.
I recently noticed this and I'm not sure if this is an issue I should be posting in here or elsewhere, but I'm missing the 2 little rubber bumpers that attach to the underside of the center console lid (Lariat). I'm not sure if the owner before me somehow misplaced them (how? kids? carelessness...
I was looking at this, too. Skeeter my golden retriever sheds like, well, a damn golden retriever. Ha. I used a fitted twin-sized bed sheet because one, it fit perfectly in my Focus RS. Two, it was easy to put in/take out as necessary. And three, it was easy to just shake out and toss in the...
It definitely should be covered under warranty.
That being said, my weather stripping on the outside of the windows are not staying secured completely. They're not falling off, but if I gave them a good tug, they'd definitely come right off with some ease. Also, they work themselves out of a...
Well, today I learned! :like:
I think I've mitigated my rattle, though. Since I learned that it was the driver's side defrost chute/vent, I knocked it, tapped it, moved it around a bit to where it's not rattling on its on. Hopefully it stays like that. Thanks for your insight and suggestion...
