I’m aware thanks. The “keypad” isn’t even mentioned in my manual. I’m assuming because it’s considered an accessory?

Like I said, not sure the why or how. Just that it ALMOST sounded like a liability issue. I am sure there are plenty of dealerships (ford and others) that go against manufacturers instructions. Sometime for the better and sometimes for the worst.

I’ve never had an issue and use CarPlay/ Apple Music all the time. Maybe restart your Sync? Press and hold the power and forward track button on the center stack.

This was gonna be my suggestion as well. I hadn’t thought about it, I’ve never forgotten to lock my truck, but I may set up the times automation for every night JUST to be safe. My habit is always leaving my phone in the truck. Any shortcut for this?

It’s finally in! Just dropped it off this morning for repairs. Looks like it’s gonna come out just under $2800, should be done the 11th. In the meantime you’ll catch me cruisin around in a 2021 Nissan Murano (my rental).

My father has a 2020 Silverado 1500 he picked up new directly from the dealership as a work vehicle (he's a Ford guy his personal truck is a F150). Anyway his first long trip out (about 600 miles round trip) the hub cab fell off. They're just steelies and the dealership wouldn't replace it...

Looks like you have an XLT, not sure how it works on your information cluster, I know one can bring it up on the Lariat...FordPass as well.

I wished he would have mentioned the Ranger specifically, I think the ones mentioned in the article are VERY tame compared to the LED OEM taillights on our trucks. For the record; I like my taillights.
