Made a video on how to get tongue weight using CAT scales (includes pricing). I think everyone should go to a CAT scale, even if they’re not towing. Surprising how many rigs are overloaded.

Bought one of these recently. Garbage. Scale is weigh off. Reads about 280 CAT says 340. There is slop everywhere ball insert, height adjustable, receiver. Toes horribly. $25 haul toes WAY better. Waiting for RMA no
Are you using a standard ball hitch. I’m towing 1700lb trailer and it’s terrible. Every small undulation in the road makes it fell like the truck is misfiring. (Back and forth jerking motion)
So went Camoibg again this morning. Fridge in slide out kitchen was full. Weighsafe read about 280. Weighted truck with and without trailer on car scales. Difference was 340lbs, so weighsafe is over 20% off. Towing still terrible. Ordered anti rattle hitch lock
I have a WeighSafe hitch, so I can read the weight
I took it to a cart scale and havw weight on all 3 axles
Not much in the back of truck: maybe 100lbs
Box contains battery and dometic fridge (all stock from factory)
Thanks
Definitely looking at upgrading suspension, but want something that's going to smooth out the bumps a bit more on trails, so still researching.
Can you tell me the model no you bought
Just picked up my 2022 Intech Flyer Pursue. 1600lbs dry weight, tongue weigh about 200lbs
I drove from VT to KY to IL. the owing experience is horrible (stock equipment: only light bedding added). I'm towing with 2020 Ranger FX4 with tow package (7500lbs capacity) and every time I go over...

Only minor gripe is the need for carriage bolts to attach stuff, unless you use u-bolts or drill holes (I have a rifle case and max trax permanently mounted), Cutting the...
