I know! True. The one I'm most leaning towards at the moment is the Toyo Open Country AT3. At 39 lbs (P/SL tire, mind you) for a 265/70r17, that's pretty good. Added to that, Toyo is a pretty solid brand, with a fair amount of proven off road history.
