Well every thing i try the abs activates and like i said before I dont believe it activates when im towing it because i would surly feel it maybe my rvi is light on applying the brake so it never activates the abs who knows so next week ill put in a call to ford and report whats going on Richard

later today Im going to put the truck in towing mode only difference is i will remain in the vehicle and see what happens Richard

Phil rhe RVI is a portable unit similar to your add a brake and i also had to up the braking force to get any braking and thats whats has me scratching my head as to why i never felt the abs being activated in all of my 2500 mi I never experienced any aggressive braking

Well leaving it sit for over 2 hours in tow mode didnt work abs still active unless when I entered the truck it became active not sure but it sure sounds like some of the truck comes alive when you open drivers door hopefully Ford will come up with an answer

Chuck your right the abs is active in tow mode but I wonder in my cross counrty trip I never unhooked ranger nor power it up so maybe the abs powers down after a couple of hours so i didnt seem to have any hard braking issues later today ill put the ranger in tow mode and let it sit and see if...

I just finishes a 2500 mi trip using a RVI3 brake system i did not notice any issues with braking at all

Just got back from a 2500 mi trip towing the ranger 4 down no issues at all

The company sent me extra shims and I doubled them up and now the gap is good cant shift to side all is good

Well installed the rails without the shims and even thou the rails are a good fit I have noticed the gap is to wide and you can push cover to one side and the latch on the other side does not engage so time to pull the rails back off and reapply shims :curse: Richard

the light on the back of the cab just above rear window it lights up the bed

Anybody have issues with cover hitting bedlight

I had to try to program with the remote and then use the learn button to program it was the same process on 2 garage openers

Got any pics on how you installed led lights on the stock taillights

What wiring did you use for lights

Richard from Norco CA got a Lariat FX4 in platnum white with the chrome package. Really liking this truck moreso than my 2013 F150 Platnum. So far have added a bedrug and a truxedo tonneau cover which mite be going back because of some fitment issues
