I bought the ESP on both of my Rangers 10/100K. I figured why not as I could write it off for business and I was planning on keeping this one for a while. The good thing is if you sell it (or total it lol) they'll give you the pro rated amount back.
That's awesome (well not that it failed) but that it failed within the ESP warranty! If it were me it would've failed 6 months AFTER it ended. lol
Now, go buy a lottery ticket and throw us all a party with your winnings. 😁
Not here they tax you on anything they can. A second home and investment property is all taxable (minus deductions) and if you want to bypass that you have to move into it and live there 3 out of 5 years to qualify as a permanent residence. So basically every time you buy a house the clock...
That too! I did that too with both my house in MA and added a few "extras" to the AR house. 🤫
I've paid enough in taxes being self employed for 36 years I'm getting everything back that I can now!
Yup, and you have to live there as a full time resident for at least 3 out of 5 years. When I sold the Arkansas house I had to sell it as an investment because we never lived there. Luckily I didn't have a huge gain and had some losses (you can only deduct $3K in losses per year) from years ago...
The home does have limits of $250K single and $500K married. Any gain over that you have to pay taxes on. These really should've been doubled by now($550k/$1M) because they were never inflation adjusted!
Most likely because of liability issues. Everyone is sue happy so if a wheel fails because it was "used" they'd be sued for it and it's not worth the risk. It's all baked into the price of new vehicles now.
Can you imagine reusing a damper and the tailgate fails and falls on some poor kids...
