I turned some sharp rounds on a parking lot and I hear nothing what sounds unusual, no grinding or similar. I don't know what I have heard yesterday but glad about it.
I will try it later again, I use my other car until I no whats wrong with it.
With full steering turn, I have try it only on the jack and hand-turned - and there I heard only the brake pads on the disk.
Yes, I meant the shocks.
Can you describe the noise more exactly? I got my ranger back with a 3 "level today, My first test drive, I think I hear a whirring sometimes, even when driving straight ahead. But if I lift one tire and turne it, even with full steering turn, I hear nothing unusal.
After I read your expirience...
I think it is the handle to lock/unlock the cover, once is with a spring, the other with a snap and fold. Maybe Jeff and Bennett could post a picture of it. I struggle between ETX and SFX. My last Gator on my Tacoma was an ETX and I was very satisfied with.
It sticks little bit less than a 1/2inch out. I used hub centric rings to center the wheels because Toyota / Ranger have an different center hole. I will get this week my 3" leveling, after them I can maybe use my 1,25 spacer as well, currently no way
ok thanks, that sounds not does it feels sluggish with the bigger tires. I ask for that reason, that my Tacoma droves good as long as i had no bigger tires mounted. With the aftermarket tires on it feels so much powerless that it is annoying. My Ranger test drive will be tomorrow.
