That's one of the 1st things I swapped out when I bought the truck. The hood prop sucked. The redlines also lift the hood @ 6 inches higher.
That adapter is a nightmare to get tight enough.
Mine vibrated a lot too... that lasted a week and then it fell off.
The 2nd time I attached it,,, I took extra time to ensure it wouldn't come loose again. Then I called a chiropractor.
Not my Ranger... but I helped a co-worker out by installing her T-style radio in her 2017 Dodge Ram 1500. It was easy compared to my Linkswell. It also sucks compared to my Linkswell. Never buy off-brands from Amazon. But it "works" and it looks good.
