  1. Smoked an Audi today, sort of...

I usually just set cruise at EXACTLY the posted speed limit and watch for steam coming from the dumbass’ ears when he can’t pass for the foreseeable future.
  2. How about some Jokes [Admin: No Politics, Religion, Nudity, Explicit Posts]

Same guys that plumbed the bathroom of my current house. :like:
  3. Gun Telated Pictures and Chat: CANADA

I’m expecting Justin to rise in the HOC tomorrow to introduce another C-21 amendment banning any municipally operated motorized wheeled conveyance capable of holding more than 5 citizens, commonly referred to as a ā€œbusā€.
  4. Another Hibernation Thread

Update: I put a charger on it overnight and yes, all my weirdness went away (the trucks, not mine. That’s another thread entirely). Kept my service appointment and the batt indeed needs to be replaced…when they have stock.
  5. How about some Jokes [Admin: No Politics, Religion, Nudity, Explicit Posts]

    ā€œA blind man walks into a bar.ā€ (wait for it….) Anywhoooo…..that’s the joke. Some Wokester says to me ā€œWhy wasn’t it a woman?ā€ Ok…… ā€œA blind man walks into a woman.ā€
  6. Ford BMS Battery Monitoring System: How it Works and How to Properly Charge Your Battery!

True enough. It is a global manual. Good thing I keep checking in here for answers. :)
  7. Ford BMS Battery Monitoring System: How it Works and How to Properly Charge Your Battery!

That would explain a lot. Maybe I should check my service manual version
  8. Ford BMS Battery Monitoring System: How it Works and How to Properly Charge Your Battery!

Hope someone can clear up my confusion…. It seems you are all charging the primary battery, but isn’t it the aux battery that runs all the background systems when the truck is shut off? Therefore is it not the aux battery that is being depleted? IF that is the case and, as the service manual...

Well, I suppose there’s that.
  10. Another Hibernation Thread

  11. Another Hibernation Thread

I’m used to my truck hibernating. 30k Km’s over almost 3 years says it sits in the driveway a lot. First time I’ve seen this message though…. Thing is, the key is not in the ignition. Anyone dealt with this before?
  12. Reconnect glovebox damper-2020

I got good at this when dealing with rodents. Open the passenger door and sit on the sill. With the glove box closed, reach up to the damper with your left hand, palm facing towards the glove box. You’ll be able to feel the loop of the damper and the attachment point on the glove box. Grasp the...
  13. Fuel in oil

It appears to have happened to me yesterday. Took an unusually long time to throw heat. Temp gauge stayed below 1/4 then finally swung over to its normal just-below-1/2 position. No codes, but engine did hitch a couple times. I’m uneducated but feels like an open thermostat. Appointment booked.
  14. How about some Jokes [Admin: No Politics, Religion, Nudity, Explicit Posts]

I know, right? Two steps at a time is like, totally unsafe!
  15. A 5g Ranger Pulled up Aside Me... But...

Was that you? Sorry, I’m kind of a dick…
  16. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Thanx! Yup, removal of the bed bolt was easy even on my ā€˜20. Installation of the step mount is done mostly blind but still not that bad. Took 1/4 of the time the instruction sheet suggests, but 4x longer than the 15 minutes some have claimed. Well worth the time and $$.
