I like what you did. I think I am going to do a straight thru muffler upgrade and go from there.
But there is no #11256 muffler in Magnaflow's catalog. I am thinking you went with the #12256? A 5x8 center/offset, single in/out, 2.5" muffler.
If you get a chance can you verify the part number...
I love your back stories!
Back in 2009 I rode my brand new Honda Goldwing from Seattle, Washington to San Fransisco, California using the coastal route the entire trip. Then a hard left and over the Sierra Nevada mountains home to Carson City, Nevada.
A trip I have cherished and remembered for...
That is .20 cents less than the Costco in our nearest big city, (we live in a rural area of South Kalifornikstan). I run the max available 91 octane in all of my rides and it is $2.99 currently at Exxon/Mobile, (the cheapest it has been in recent history).
It is sad that gas is cheaper in...
Probably not a SYNC 3 issue. I would suspect that something is going on with your phone/mobile OS. Someone suggested trying a different cable. Good suggestion. With my iPhone and CarPlay it is mandatory to use a cable that is MFi certified. If a cheapo cable is used results are unpredictable.
The hp and torque numbers in the FPP tune description are using 93 octane. So of course they won't be as high when using 91 octane. I'll still see substantial gains over stock I think. The ability to disable the gear skipping will be nice as well.
Yep, 50 State legal. I ordered mine last week. $624 bucks (plus installation) for 45ish horsepower and 60ish lb/ft of torque is worth it for me. I run 91 octane in all of my vehicles anyway. Plus I can adjust for larger diameter tires after I wear out the OEM's and do away with the "skip shift"...
The back doors, rear quarter panels, and tailgate. The issue was what looked like thin paint leaving the primer showing through. It was from the bottom edge and up two or three inches. The primer is very close to the Ingot Silver color so it was not super noticeable. But of course once you see...
I spoke with the service writer again yesterday. We spoke a bit more about the FPP tune and he said he knows just the guy to talk to. I took this as good news.
I'll post here with any pertinent news concerning the tune and it's installation.
Picked up my truck this afternoon. Dropped it off on 5/11. Picked it up on 5/22. Ridiculous amount of time. It's a good thing they did an absolutely beautiful job on the paint.
