They used my ranger as a test vehicle for their rock sliders, and they are very well built. I have had no issues with the finish, or rusting or anything of the like.
Awesome! Thanks for the write up! I wanted to do this so I could put vinyl on my roof to protect it from everything that tends get up there, so this will help big time!
I'm running the 2" BDS kit and have had it on for 2500 miles with no issues whatsoever. The shop that installed it said that it was a smooth install and when I went back for re-torqueing as directed after 500 miles and they checked everything out for me, and it was all still solid.
How did you get it off? Once that is off, you just have to remove the handles, some trim pieces around the back, and the headliner should drop down a little bit enough to reach the mounting hardware for the sharkfin part. I got my headliner to drop with all those afore mentioned parts removed...
Do please let me know if you figure it out. I see the rather clever smartass answers you've been getting on your other post, that are no help at all. Haha.
Weird...I have a 2 inch level kit and 33" tires and am getting 20.9. Sorry to hear man, I'm hoping its a matter of breaking in maybe? I also use 91 octane fuel.
