And I swear they use the cheapest watered down alcohol too, we had the drink packages which weren't cheap and they limit you to 15 per day, never even got a damn buzz and there were days I had 12-13.
Reminds me when we were in Barbados at an All Inclusive and no matter how much you drank...
Thats just it, I read these posts and threads from people who claim they have their cake and they ate it too. I don't mind losing a tiny bit of mileage but to drop from 22-23 down to 17-18 is unacceptable. Especially since I have a 3,500 mile road trip coming up soon and don't want to blow my...
I have spend the majority of my 60 years on this planet doing things I was told not to, so far it's been semi ok.....not everything went perfectly but I learned valuable lessons. I have the old single piece compressors where you put one on each side and those can be dicey at best. I picked up a...
The clientele they cater too does tend to be more on the trashy side. I have watched a number of videos of Carnivals caribbean cruises and also belong to a couple different FB pages...no way would I go on one of those.
I have been in touch with 5 Star and asked them to make a tune with all the trans improvements and other little things they do but leave the fueling alone and lets see how that goes. Was told they can do that so now I wait for an updated tune.
Has anyone ever attempted to install a front end leveling kit without removing the entire strut? Compress the spring in place enough to accomplish the job?
Can't say I have seen it. This one was Carnival and we wanted to hit up Alaska for our 25th anniversary, the dates worked out & I didn't care which ship at that time. I would consider a Royal Carribean cruise as I have ZERO interest in doing another Carnival one.
If your idea of fun is sitting around listening and playing various musical games that all revolved around either Billy Joel or Elton John, then sure it's a blast. I'm dead serious too, every single one we went to they had songs from those 2 and that was it. They even had a musical in the main...
2019 XLT with stock drivetrain aside from 265/70/17 tires. Been running a couple different 5 Star tunes, have tried the 87 versions of daily & performance as well as the same ones for 89 octane and a 91 octane performance one. With any of them the truck shifts great, responds to throttle inputs...
Wife and I went on an Alaskan cruise with Carnival last July, I won't say I will never go on another but it's not my favorite thing to do. We loved Alaska but didn't get to spend much time on land and way too much time being bored on the ship where we just wandered around eating and drinking and...
Give me a couple days and I will pull the skid plate for some decent pics. It does mount where the stock tow hooks were, you will need to either ditch the skid plate or make some mods like I did to retain it. There are 2 additional straps one on each side which also tie the mounts into the...
Its a Westin winch tray and a 12,000 lb Badlands winch. Had to modify the skid plate because when you remove the stock tow hooks you lose the mounting point for the front of the plate. I used a Riv nut on each side into the support arm of the tray and then drilled matching holes in the plate...
Loaded the 91 tune and made a couple runs, the 60 ft and 0-60 times were both slower vs the 89 tune but this one pulled better on top. Aside from the tune it's bone stock drivetrain wise. Pretty sure with a little more practice it has a 14.10 in it if not more.
TV show Engine Masters just did an episode dedicated to various octane levels. They maxed out a motor on 87 octane and it made basically 500 hp, then they tried 91, 100, 110, and eventually E85. They played around with timing and fuel and the only fuel that made any difference was the E85 where...
