I ripped through the sidewall on mine on some rocks when offroading.... and the sidewall on another has already started cracking...but thats my insight if you try to offroad on them without getting falkens beforehand lol
If you're looking at redtek it should be that link, but if you're looking for the one this thread is using you'd have to ask someone else as its apparently a different company
Sounds good! Also sounds like from Panda Motorworks they are going to get to designing the dust covers once they are done with the tailgate assist/damper.
So I definitely got this tsb done, but on cold start it still seems to shift rough, though all the other times it definitely feels way better than it used to after having the tsb done for about a month now. any thoughts?
I love the 3 inch lift, to me, first day when I drove it around after I got the lift kit the rid quality seemed ridiculously improved up front. I haven't run into too much of an articulation issue yet but I could see what you mean. I still feel like the back of my truck is a bit bouncy as people...
Yep exactly the problem. There is no way I have been able to get them to be 100% vertical. I really love the look and haven't taken them out but the beam pattern just seems off which is disappointing to say the least.
I agree, stock was not great, took it off road and I ended up with a huge gash in my sidewalls, a fun slow journey back on a spare tire lol. Got the Falkens and they are definitely awesome.
My Issue was definitely the headlight housings and having to rotate the collars precisely to fit. To this day the fitment still feels a bit off on the SL1 Low Beams but I was able to make it work. Running no dust covers tho I probably need to do a check on them soon to ensure nothing got in.
If you look at RC Mustangs build thread he talks about theFabtech FTS7265 Performance rear shocks improved his ride, I'm thinking of maybe getting some myself, let me know if you purchase and have some feedback
It seems like it definitely flickers between 2 power modes, Probably half then full like you said. But I've definitely noticed this. I would love some projectors eventually
No the dust caps don't fit because the led housings are too big. The rubber gasket on the led and bulb housing is really tough to turn so I'm not too worried about much getting into the housings. I know they are safely able to enclose everything into the housings as the headlight assemblies are...
I actually just moved to Basalt, so if anyone is planning to come out to glenwood/aspen area to do any off-roading let me know! I'll be doing some searching myself for trails
