I think a US Everest would be AWESOME! (Not just saying that for those like me would love to have one parked in the driveway next to my Ranger.) I'm sure it would be good for Ford.
I know many people have expressed concern over it cannibalizing Explorer sales. I really don't believe this would...
When I picked up my Outlander Max back in August I was worried about the width between the wheel wells, and since it was a 4 hour drive to the dealership I was buying from I was taking no chances. Borrowed my parents F-150 and was gonna build a ramp over/on top of the wheel wells when I got...
Hi and Welcome,
#1 As others have said looks like it's behind the grille, which I would imagine would "block it"- especially for a sensor that is designed not to have anything in front of it.
#2 You can see the status of the start stop system ( I have a lariat with the two screens and it's...
Had this come up on my truck today. Not sure if I should wait for it to go away. Of course I'm leaving for a work trip day after tomorrow for two weeks.
I'm assuming you have a CEL/ code telling you about the misfire? Are you resetting/clearing the codes(s) after every attempted fix? If not you may have at one point corrected the problem and didn't even know it.
I think the headlights themselves look pretty neat, the animation is kinda cool IMO but as others have said it is kinda cheesy and definitely too long. I would definitely be more interested if it were just the last 4-5 seconds ish. (The "filling up/single pulse") I would remove the part of the...
Updated mine today, Finally! Absolutely no issues during or after upgrade (so far) love the updated look.
FYI I did use my Mac for the update, no issue might be worth noting I used the unarchiver instead of Stuff it.
When this happens has anyone tried placing the Fob (if equipped with keyless start) in the rear cup holder? (The one closest to the center console?)
I know this is where your supposed to place the fob if the battery in the fob is dead. Might be worth looking into.
Glad your ok and it's not worse!
I remember when I was a kid my dad was driving home from work at night in his '95 S10 ( which also had a steel bumper) he was doing about 55-60 when a deer ran out in front of him. I wasn't there but I'm sure it was similar where he had time to slow down ever so...
First daily driver was a 92 Subaru Legacy (Sedan). First Ford daily driver is the Ranger (also first new vehicle), although it doesn't feel like it- grew up and learned to drive with Fords.
This is still the by far the fastest & most reliable for locking/ unlocking/ starting and checking vehicle status. (IMO)

I've always felt the same way, and have always made sure to keep her secure, in all my vehicles It never been hard to rig up a lead that attaches to her harness so she can sit/lay while making sure she doesn't go far in the those emergency maneuvers. The point of this thread was simply to get...
I have never heard of replacing a new battery after 2-3 years. I've been in North Idaho for 12 years and the average seems to be around 7.
I think most batteries last longer in the cold, at least in my case from AA/AAA, phones/ cars everything. Most instructions say to protect from heat.
My...
That's almost exactly what I was looking for. I found the same company also makes this one (different material), that I'll probably end up going with as it's more water resistant, / would withstand dogs better. ?
