  1. 2019 Lariat broke. Drivers aide taillight

Where's a good place to get one that works with blind spot, etc that the Lariat has?
  2. Rear brakes - Pads and Rotors needed

I'm getting the shuddering when braking on my 2019 Ranger Lariat 4WD. 61K miles. What's a good source for new vented rotors and pads? Also, a good how-to on this? I understand the tears need a special tool to compress rotors. I've never don't that and always used c clamp. Is removing...
  3. Rear Rotors Warping Due to Parking Brake Applied on Hot Rotors/Pads?

My 2019 with 56,000 miles has some shudder that feels like rear rotors/brakes. What are you all using for new rotors and pads on the rear? For that matter, what are you using on the front? Anything worth noting on rear rotor removal on these? I've done a Titan and F250 rotors and pads before.
  4. Towing 4500 lb camper up 8% grade

I'll give it a try some time, but as I said, I did try it and didn't see any advantage at all. I'm glad you like it though. I pretty much leave truck in Sport mode at all times towing or not. Road is far too twisty for cruise control, so that's no benefit to me. I only tow that trailer once...
  5. Towing 4500 lb camper up 8% grade

Tried tow mode and didn't feel much of any difference in feel of drive train. I use Sport mode all the time when not towing up and down those same mountain roads. The shift points, passing ability and how it holds in a gear longer when descending is ideal for not having to use much braking...
  6. Inside tailgate panel

Damn, that thing is really nice!!! I'd love to have more storage, but $600 is steep!!!!
  7. Towing 4500 lb camper up 8% grade

What this guy said. I recently towed a Home Depot, hydraulic dump trailer loaded with gravel that weighed around 4500 pounds. I was shocked at how easily the little Ranger drug it up the mountain. I began around 5000' altitude, towed it up a fairly steep grade to 9900', then down other side to...
  8. Is Matt’s Off Road Recovery Rope Best?

It can be annoying but seems to be his response to the countless internet videos with 2 minutes of useful information spread out over 27 minutes. I'd much prefer his fast talking but very informative style.
  9. Carrying 12' pipes, hang out of the bed?

You laugh but I did something similar with a 20' length of 6" PVC pipe and my old Altima. Used twine and duct tape to attach it to passenger side of car. It stuck out a foot or two at each end but was very secure and didn't clop around. Made loops of twine attached under hood and trunk lid. Duct...
  10. Can't find violet/white wire - bake controller install

Found it!!! Had to cut the tie wrap holding the connectors for engine diagnostic port. White/violet wire was hidden behind it and was looped on itself and wrapped in black electrical tape.
  11. Can't find violet/white wire - bake controller install

Trying to install Redarc brake controller on my 2019 Ranger. Truck has factory tow with hitch and seven pin connector in rear. I found three of four wires under dash. White, green/black and yellow/orange were all tied together. In reading the sticky, author says his white/violet was hidden off...
  12. Tire size options for 2019 4WD Lariat

Yes, it has been. If coming off a curb or with body lean I do hear what sounds like very minor rubbing but can't seem to find where it's happening. No shiny spots or other areas that look like there's contact. May need to jack it up and remove a wheel to see if there's anything I can see.
  13. What lights do I need?

I frequently drive a 50 mile mountain road here in Utah from 6000 to 10,000 feet. Lots of deer and elk. When I bought my used 2019 FX4 Lariat, I immediately started to research replacing the fogs with super bright LED driving lights. I know they are for off road only but I can toggle them off...
  14. How much free space needed - front suspension

That's what I thought but wanted to make sure. Thanks!!
  15. How much free space needed - front suspension

Got new tires (275/65 R18) installed on FX4 Lariat at same time I had Bilstein 5100's installed to lift front level. Stock rims. They fit and look great with no rubbing so far during street driving. I did notice that when I stuck my hand behind tire there is only 1/2" or so of space...
  16. Show me your inverter

My kids use the 110V outlet at bottom of rear console to charge their laptops on longish trips. That's all I got.
  17. Ranger Raptor Unloading Fail....

It doesn't look like the truck was damaged. They should be able to just roll it down off the truck.
  18. Ford Pass update has killed it

Now that actually makes sense, especially if you are fortunate to have a secure parking lot at work. I can see where that would be a big benefit on super cold days when leaving work. I never had remote start before getting my Lariat and now use it all the time on very cold mornings.
  19. Homebrew Fuel tank skid

That's very cool. Great job!!! I was looking for a more robust skid plate for my gas tank. Can't seem to find one
  20. Ford Pass update has killed it

LOL!!! Can't see me ever needing to start my truck from across town. Again, I see no benefit, but you do you.
