So I was out today and noticed in the parking lot a puddle underneath the truck. I recently had my transmission rebuilt by my local ford dealer, not sure if the leak is related to that. I had been hearing a sort of knocking type of sound like something is loose/out of place maybe transmission...
Hi guys,
I am looking around online a bunch and not really finding great options for door handle replacements for the truck.
Mine have faded a bunch and I tried those cerakote wipes but ended up with white streak lines and it’s bugging me so I want to just get all new door handles.
The only...
Interesting! That is good to know. Which tube should I be looking for exactly? I know the dpfe sensor is on the drivers side and then the egr is kind of on the passenger side if i’m not mistaken?
Hi all,
Just received the DPFE sensor assembly, in the process of doing some preventative maintenance on the truck.
Had my transmission rebuilt/overhauled In Jan so that helped with shifting a lot but still noticing some weird lurches in low speeds which i suspect could be related to DPFE.
I...
Why do you guys (@Frenchy @Rp930) think about fuel/engine additive? I found some potentially promising stuff called 505 CRO & 505 CRF. Seems pretty simple and cost effective which I am leaning towards, because i think it’s either go big and do something like walnut blasting (too expensive and I...
That’s exactly why i’m going to take it in to have this done the first time because it’s almost at 100k and i’d feel more comfortable having the dealership do it. I’d bet there’s likely a good amount of the carbon buildup and chunks could fall in there and I wouldn’t want to be doing that my...
So my local ford dealership has a service for carbon buildup on these GDI engines and they said it’s specifically to help with the carbon buildup, not walnut blasting but it’s an intake cleaning service, they charge $290 for it, I feel like that’s with it, probably my best bet right?
After I...
Yeah i’m curious whether it’d be better to just go to the ford dealership and have them do the injection cleaning service or whatever they call it. Not as thorough as walnut blasting but i don’t imagine the carbon buildup would be too significant. Hard to say though.
So I bought my Ranger at ~91k miles. To my knowledge, I do not believe it has had any cleaning done to remove carbon buildup in the engine.
I don’t drive the truck very often and usually shorter trips so I am worried about extra carbon buildup.
I hear there are a couple potential things to...
Hey Benny,

Hey Benny,
My order for the ford ranger performance grille was placed, (#700057527)
Curious to know if it’s in stock to ship or if it’s on back order?
Hey Benny!
Been researching a little bit for a Ford Ranger performance grille for my 2020 xlt, (part number M-8200-FRD). I looked on the threads and they directed me here to see about a coupon/discount code before ordering. Wanted to shoot you a message before I order to see if you could hook...
Hey all!
I am hoping to get some feedback on these couple of tires I have narrowed down to. For some context my ranger is new to me but the current tires need replaced soon and I want to get new ones that are A/T to add a slightly 'beefier' feel to the truck, so looks are somewhat important as...
Thats a good point.. I have looked around and sounds like Id need to adjust the tire size in Forscan.. do you know much about that/do you have experience in getting larger tires?
Hello!
I am new to the Ranger Forum, recently got my 2020 XLT and I am thinking about upgrading the tires soon. I have done quite a bit of reading on this forum and havent seen too many people go with the above mentioned tire size.
My stock size is 255/65/r17. I know going to 70 isnt a huge...
