I've always wanted a lotus seven but that FF '35 pick 'em up is sweet. anybody here building that? it would be nice to tow my homemade boat with a homemade truck. I think I need a bigger garage....
so the old timers never camped while overlanding the oregon trail?
should I also add that I have a roof top tent(pos GFC) but I call it camping even though I drive over land to the camp site?

you may be right and I don't feel like googling. I know there were "overlanding" companies for moving cargo and people out west during the westward expansion. they actually had overland in their names. as to where they took that from? I don't know
