That's a cargo box in the back there, right? If that wasn't there, I assume there would be more room to fit the skis? Looks like it just barely fits. I have about the same size skis and trying to figure out if the 5 foot bed is big enough.

Kids are small and won't be big anytime soon. I guess I am not particularly worried about their specific ability to fit inside, as they would definitely be able to. More just thinking about using the Ranger as a family vehicle in general and all the things that go along with that, like going on...

For those of you that have kids - do you find the Ranger big enough for a family of 4? Trying to decide whether a F150 or Ranger is more appropriate for us and cab space is something I am worried about. Ranger seems like it could be a tad bit too small while the F150 seems like overkill...

I think the idea is that the mechanism that holds the fork/bike is actually 100% secure/rigid and the bike doesn't move around at all like it would with a tailgate pad. So as long as you put the bike on there and secure it with the tire away from the wheel I don't think you should have an issue...

So even if you fold the tonneau all the way back (so that it's blocking the rear window) you still can't fit the bike in with the tailgate pad? Or do you have a style of tonneau that still takes up a decent amount of bed space when fully folded up? I have a hitch rack on my current SUV but one...

For those of you that have a tonneau cover and are also using a tailgate pad - are you able to close and lock the tonneau cover on top of the tailgate pad or are you removing it and reinstalling it frequently? Also, anyone know if they plan on having a crew cab + long bed option in future...
