Not sure what category this goes under, so exterior it is...
The Ranger Ford Performance Diff Cover is now up at the FP website and available for purchase from @LevittownFordParts.com here. I got my order in yesterday - now the wait begins.

Yes, there are two front bolts that you can easily see when pulling back the fender liner, and there are two more hiding behind the fender on the corner at a weird angle.
Its the default 3.4 skin. I just changed the background color to black in settings and enabled night mode.
Thats only a temporary change for that ignition cycle though. Once you start it back up it will default to stock. If you want a more permanent change it has to be through FORScan.
Thanks! I ordered a set of FactionFab 1.5" spacers from @Stage3Motorsports , here's a link https://www.stage3motorsports.com/FFA1-10189-1X2-2019-Ford-Ranger-FactionFab-6x139-7mm-1-5-Forged-Aluminum-Wheel-Spacers-Set-of-Four.html
I'm confident you can autoinstall the 3.4 update in the Ranger, but haven't tried it yet. Looks like our Russian friends have found a newer build (19274 5U5T-14G381-CJ) of 3.4 than what I have (19200 5U5T-14G381-CD) in my RS. Hopefully the official release isn't too far out. @UofMEngineer ? :D
You're downloading 3.4? From the owner.ford.com website or from unofficial channels?
I haven't installed it on my Ranger yet, but in my RS it actually felt faster to respond and I haven't had any issues at all.
Depends on if you like to hear the 'whoooooosh' or not every time the truck shifts. If not, just go with the DV+ as it'll hold boost better over stock. If you do like the 'whoooosh' then you'll need the VTA.
Earth's magnetic field has been rapidly heading toward reversing and I've noticed a lot of weird things happening with my GPS as well, both the truck GPS and android auto GPS. Could be related? Maybe not...
Maybe not about to flip, but its at least moving quickly...
There's a Sync 3.4 update out there in the wild, I've updated my RS with it (from 3.0, which shouldn't be possible but it is :) ) and it looks kinda-ish like 4, but still no wireless carplay/android auto, that requires a hardware upgrade. The Ranger WILL get this upgrade at least.
I mean... I can record a snippet of the DV+ in action, but you can't hear any difference whatsoever over stock. Its basically a stouter stock part. The VTA on the other hand...
No, no we're not.
EDIT: and to be fair, I don't think anyone was complaining about the price, just that it's not black which we we're talking about fixing on our own.
the "tree fiddy" plus install was a joke, but if it had been an internal spring type thing, it might have been right.
Yeah, gonna have to take care of that hardware :D
