Wow. I'll have to recheck the owner's manual. I thought that Ford recommended to change the oil when the oil life indicator showed it was time BUT under no circumstances exceed 10,000 miles or 1 year. I didn't know Ford recommended waiting until the vehicle hit 10,000 miles.
I think the choice of tires depends on whether your Ranger is 2 or 4 wheel drive. Mine is 2 wheel and will never be "off-road" so my preferred tire would be a set of Michelins. I don't think there is a better "street" tire. For my Rubicon, I have Goodyear ATs. I would also consider BF...
