  1. Touch screen strong press!

I see this problem when using Waze to choose routes. I'll get a menu of options, but I'll have to press the option I want several times until it takes. If there's an adjustment, I'd like to try it.
  2. Coolant Loss maybe Mystery

Look at the bright side, it could be a VW. They've been spewing water pumps and thermostat housings for decades, and VW has done nothing for the millions of vehicles that had these failures. There is no aftermarket solution, either. Best of luck.

What are the holes in the bumper for?
  4. Differentials and Transfer Case Fluid Change

Thanks for the heads up. I will be doing all three at the next oil change at 35K.
  5. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Is this the place? It's iconic. About 30 minutes away from me. These are Cape lobsters from a local boat. $6.95/#.
  6. Auto start/stop quit working today.

Do you drive mostly short trips? Have you tried to charge the battery using a smart charger with the positive clamp on the proper side of the battery module?

What a waste of good cornbread :frown:

Very simply, it connects a number of applications on your Android phone to your vehicle's in-car entertainment system. Instead of using them on your phone, you operate them through your vehicle's touchscreen interface, steering wheel controls, or voice. There is a similar system for iPhone...

If you want to add wireless AA, there are a number of aftermarket adapters available. I use the AAwireless Android Auto wireless adapter in both my 2021 Ranger and my wife's 2022 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid Limited. This one is the original. Others are cheaper, or offer multiple phone support and other...

She blocked the beer fridge? Man, them's fightin' words.
  12. Repair Geek on catch cans

I'm sure it's possible, but I had zero problems and a lot of success using the CRC product as described in three different turbocharged vehicles.
  13. Back to the 2020 FX4 Salvage Rebuild

    I don't either. It's a troubleshooting step.
  14. Back to the 2020 FX4 Salvage Rebuild

This is not a wireless Android Auto system, although I run an aftermarket adapter that works great (AAwireless). Try this. Unplug the phone from the truck. Start it and let the Sync come completely up. Start AA on your phone. Once it's on the phone screen, plug the cable into the truck. Your...
  15. Repair Geek on catch cans

You'll have to tape the 1/8" hose connection or it will leak all over you. Again, this was for VW, so you'll have to find a suitable sensor port on the 2.3. I haven't got to that point yet, but I will soon, and I'll post about it. The way it works is, you disconnect the sensor and remove it...
  16. Back to the 2020 FX4 Salvage Rebuild

Is Android Auto installed on your phone? That's mandatory. That screen looks just like the one in my Lariat minus the AA tab on the bottom.
  17. What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

Let us know how these hold up. I've always used Moog for end links.

Updates via wifi take a very long time. It's "normal". You should not need Ford Pass. I don't have it and updates work fine. The master reset is in settings on the Sync3 screen. There were two main reasons I ended up with a Ranger Lariat. First are the LED headlamps. I have low vision and these...

A 2020 XLT should have Sync3 and thus Android Auto. Try a master reset to get it back to OEM, then update via Wifi and configure.
