Anyways, here's the inspiration.
Behold, the Saleen XP8..
I'll be carrying over as much as I can from this, and building up the truck to resemble this as much as possible.
Oh yeah.. ??
I've been looking at Doc's build and Mirage775 for a bit. Doc has got a beast of a truck. He's the reason I chose to go with the Unleashed Tune.
He's also got much more work in it than I'll ever do, and Mirage775 has that sweet SCT build. He's got a clone, but to me, it's the OG...
Ill be upgrading a little bit at a time.
Please bear with me as I am more often at work than at home, but I will be keeping track of the build and upgrades. This WILL be finished.
If you all have any questions or comments, hit me up!!
Believe it or not, these are not stock photos. These are pictures of the actual truck at the dealership when I got it.
It was a used 2023 Ranger with a tad over 3,100 miles when I got it.
It's practically new, and the newest car I've ever owned.
Hey everyone!
I'm Francisco, and I got a 2023 Ford Ranger XLT 2WD in Oxford white. And as much as I love the truck for what it is, there's always room for improvement.
For as long as I can remember, I've been a fan of Street trucks. Lowered, just a tad, and with better handling and more...
Bump.
Someone take this wing off my hands.
$110 shipped to you. Got it boxed and ready to go. Got some clear upgraded Silicone included in the sale.
Need the space.
Best bet would be to place the cab lights around the sides of the spoiler from what I can see. That part is pretty hollow. Perhaps one light in the top center of the spoiler.
Tapping in through the third brake light would be your best option.
From where the spoiler Mounts on top of the light...
So the inside of the spoiler is hollow, for the most part, but the spoiler itself sits pretty flush with the body. Where would you have run the wires, and installed the lights?
If anything, perhaps you can add lights by running the wires through where the third brake light sits. A dab of...
When I test fitted my spoiler, it never reached the side rails where the plastic pieces were, the antenna, or the elevated parts on the roof.
I have a Crew cab for those inquiring minds. It would have fit with no issues had I installed it on my truck.
For further verification, according to the...
Hey everyone,
I know I'm a new member, but rest assured I'm a serious member. Looking to get more involved as my build progresses.
With that being said, I have a brand new unpainted EGR cab spoiler for the 2019-2023 Ranger. Please note, it is like new.
Just took it out of the box to inspect...
Today I installed the Air Design tailgate spoiler, added some body colored door handles, and converted all front bulbs in the headlight housing to LED, fogs included.
Waiting on some high fill primer and paint, so I can prep the cab spoiler and install it.
I'll be starting a thread soon, but...
Thanks for clearing that up boss!!
I'm still on the fence about the exhaust, but at least I got an idea of what to look for. As much as I dig the Roush exhaust, I'll probably skip it and just go with the Gibson exhaust. I believe it's also inboard duals. It's like the MBRP, but to me sounds...
Hey Dmeyers8,
Beautiful rig. After reading your thread, I'm set on lowering my truck also in the near future, at 2/4, in order to keep it somewhat conservative, yet retaining the stock rake so whenever I load up tue rear, I'd be level, and not 'squatting' .
My question to you deals with the...
