  1. Phone mount suggestions? Products, and placement in the truck?

You are correct. I can't find anything about mounting of the phone in the new Hampshire law....mass does call it out though. New hampshire, as far as i can tell, just requires it to be out of your hands. To me, having it secured does make a lot of sense through. Last thing you need is little...
  2. Phone mount suggestions? Products, and placement in the truck?

I work in Mass so I need to abide both. Mass requires the phones to be securely mounted to the dash, windshield or center console. I suppose center console could mean the armrest area but I'm not sure. Either way, it can't be sitting in a cup holder unless it's sddcurely mounted. I guess the...
  3. What was your first Ford daily driver?

My first daily driver out of high school was a 1980 Mercury Capri ( mercury version of the mustang) It had the 2.3 liter inline 4 with a 3 speed auto. After 2 years I bought a used 1972 Mustang and pulled the 302 out of it and dropped into the Capri with custom engine mounts and a C4 tranny...
  4. Phone mount suggestions? Products, and placement in the truck?

I live in a hands free State and it requires the phone to be mounted somewhere in the dash area. Not that everyone does it but it is the law here.
  5. Phone mount suggestions? Products, and placement in the truck?

I've been using this for the past few years and love how easily it operates. One hand load and release. https://www.amazon.com/iOttie-Dashboard-Windshield-Samsung-Smartphone/dp/B076B27WP6 I had no issues mounting it in my Focus. I have (had) a second one in the now traded in Santa Fe. The...
  6. Other ecoboost engines vs ours

My 1980 Mercury Capri had a 2.3 liter inline 4 in it and I'm pretty sure the 2.3 EB is a derivative on that engine. My point being, the 2.3 inline has a solid pedigree behind it.
  7. Power Seat Sucks

Need more information. Screws are threaded into the sheet metal....what does that mean? Are they sheet metal screws holding the rail down or are there threads in the sheet metal( as in a pem nut)?

  10. Led Headlight bulbs

BTW, I just joined this forum a few days ago after buying a 2020 Ranger. I started researching the headlight conversion and found this thread. I started reading from the beginning but only made 6 pages before jumping ahead to page 21 ish and finishing from there. I want to thank all of you for...
  11. Led Headlight bulbs

Agreed Just want to add that the auxito LEDs posted in #494 were 16,000 lumens per pair and not each.
  12. New buyer FX4 question

What's even more disturbing is how many customers have these dealers lost because someone came to test drive a vehicle...only to leave and get a different brand because they didn't like the way it drove? Sure the dealers are doing a disservice to their customers, but worse, they are doing a...
  13. New buyer FX4 question

I'm new here and just bought an XTL FX4 last weekend. It was bouncy when I picked it up. I checked the tire pressue and all the tires were at 41 psi. Specs on the door call out a 30 psi setting with the 17" rims with Hancook tires. I dropped down to 35 psi for a day...still bouncy. Just dropped...
  14. New Members Introduce Yourself!

New member here. Just picked up a 2020 Ranger XLT (FX4) last week. It's actually going to be my wife's primary vehicle since she has a much shorter commute than me. I am still in the queue for the new Bronco but I've been having second thoughts after the poor communication by Ford regarding the...
