I installed these last weekend. I'm guessing it's easier to just install the extra leaf rather than installing the whole assembly, provided the bolt that's holding the leafs together is long enough when you move it over. The bolt that AutoSprings provides is cut to length.

Springs provide resistance to force, so if you have a stiffer spring (by adding an extra leaf) you will reduce the amount of spring deflection under the same load (weight of the rear end of the truck). If you haven't added weight to the rear, the truck will sit higher.

Maybe check out STEDI in Australia (stedi.com.au). Even with shipping cost, they are good value with great reviews, but probably still made in China. International buyers pay 10% less (no goods & services tax) and the exchange rate is favorable. I have their ST4K 42ā bar that Iām going to...
Selling the front/rear FX4 shocks from my ā19 Lariat. Also have the OEM UCAs if anyone wants them (didnāt clean for pic below). The fronts came off at around 1200 miles and the rears at around 6600. Fronts have some cosmetic rust at the bottom end as shown in photo.
Local pick up in San Diego...
Iām selling four OEM 18-inch Machined Aluminum Wheel w/ Magnetic Pockets with the 265/60R18 Hankook Dynapro ATM tires. These were removed from a 2019 FX4 Lariat at around 1200 miles. Wheels are in great condition. Two of the tires have some chunks out of the tread due to rear wheel spin when the...
Thought I should update this because I found out the ARB OME extra leaf only works with their leaf springs, not the springs that came with the truck. I ended up going with the Auto Spring Kits add a leafs (I got the standard springs, but thereās an option for less lift)...
This ARB drawer was the only option I could find with a Ranger specific side floor kit when I was looking a few months back. There may be some other single drawers out there that will fit, but don't come with the Ranger floor kit.
Added a couple of LED strips inside the Smart Cap. Can select red (for night use) or white with a toggle switch and have a dimmer to control brightness. This is wired to the battery. Switch/dimmer are mounted on the vertical face of the ARB trim panel to the right of the drawer.
RSI will take care of the splicing cost. I think they are working on a new harness that will work with the LED lights, so it will be more plug and play.
Here is the ARB drawer (RDRF1355 + half of the MA19FKEK side floor kit) with the RSI cap installed
I had to notch out 2 of 3 side floor panels to make room for the RSI mounting brackets. I separated the carpet from the plywood, cut out the notch with a saw, then glued the carpet back in place...
Here it is with the FR rack on. I like the combo. Definitely needs the extra leaf in the back, as sitting about an inch lower than the front with the weight of the RSI cap and ARB drawer. Iām waiting on some Icon rear shocks before doing this (back ordered forever...), if anyone wants to sell me...
I didnāt notice much impact on loading width, but I think the width of the rear cap opening is a bit narrower than the width of the tailgate opening. There are 10 bolts with nylock nuts to take it off the mounting bracket and another 12 or so bolts to remove the brackets. 15 mins might be...
Hi Ray - Iāll update once I get this thing out of the garage! Iām assuming Iāll need to plug the gap at the front to keep out weather. Chris mentioned above heād sort out the brake light cable. My only other feedback so far is that I was expecting this to clamp onto the top of the bed rather...
Hi all - I received, assembled and installed my SmartCap today. Here are some pics:
First impression is that the cap is very well/solidly made. Really like the gull wing doors. Assembly took a couple of hours - quite a lot of fasteners to deal with. Itās maybe an inch or so taller than I...
