  1. Pre-Collision Assist not availabl

Another clue to the puzzle.. I discovered within the steering wheel menu, that the "Active Braking" is unchecked. I can access it, but cannot activate it. Not sure of this is the issue, but it makes sense that this could be the problem. Any one know how to initiate the Active Braking option?
  2. Pre-Collision Assist not availabl

Hi Jon, I actually adjusted the tire size a few days earlier, which did not trip any codes. While having the adapter out, I thought I'd jump back in on the weekend to view some other options. I did make some other, (what I thought) were minor changes a few days later. Typically, if the system...
  3. Pre-Collision Assist not availabl

Hey All - Hoping for a bit of clarity and instruction. I was recently in FORScan again, adjusting the mm circumference of my larger tires and decided to make a few more tweaks. I stopped in at each tab to take a look around and spent some time studying the options available. Regrettably, I do...
  4. must mods with forscan ?????

I believe we may be on to something. The As-Builts would have the original defaults. - Of course, if I roll it all back (assuming I could even do that), I would just have to redo all of my previous updates again. Might actually be less of a pain to do it that way, quite honestly, than hunt and...
  5. must mods with forscan ?????

Thanks Tom, If there was a way to have done an excel of all of the defaults in the beginning, that would have been the winning ticket for me, then I could have had an extra tab of the changes. I know I don't have anything blocking it. The error came immediately after making several bulk...
  6. must mods with forscan ?????

I'm hoping to tap into some of you Forescan pros out there for some ideas.. Over the past year, I have become fairly fluent with using the program and have really enjoyed many of the changes, particularly The Battery Saver Mod, Bambi Mod and the Tire/Speedo Recalc for my Larger tires, just to...
  7. Android Auto and other forms of Mental Anguish..

Let me just say, that I genuinely appreciate the feedback here.. I believed I was needlessly replacing what I thought was a perfectly good, nay, "PREMIUM" USB cable, only to discover that you gents were spot on! - As soon as I plug'd that mutha in, SHIZAM! AA is up and running with no problems...
  8. Android Auto and other forms of Mental Anguish..

Honestly, I was ready to pull the trigger on a AA Wireless dongle. I like the idea of it and the recent Amazon sales nearly had me, but after reading the negative feedback, I bailed. Just waaaay to many people complaining about the same related issues.. I'm sure there are many who truly love...
  9. White letters in or out?

I love that color of you're Ranger.. Very classy. Dig"n the WLO too. What size are you running there?
  10. White letters in or out?

Black Walls, or do White Letters Matter? I recall a day, when I wore a younger mans shoes, when the "in thing" was to have white letters out.. I was a pre-teen in the mid 70's. Back when the NFL wasn't lame, cartoons were actually funny, and Dodge rolled out their Black Power Wagon equipped...
  11. Adding diff lock and Terrain management button

Hiya Jon... Super interested in the Cooper AT3s or XLT's w/ the 65k mi. warranty as my replacements in a couple of months. I've read that they are quiet and smooth running tires. What size did you go with? Happen to have any pics??
  12. Adding diff lock and Terrain management button

I believe the addition of the Terrain Management (TM) knob will run you around $115 for the part. Assuming your a DIY'r and Installing it youself. You will also need to enable it through FORScan as mentioned above. I understand that it's an easy, staright forward install, but I really dont know...
  13. Android Auto and other forms of Mental Anguish..

Yinzcity - Yeah, thank you. I had assumed that was the adapters sole function. My work truck, (which was a Chevy Silverado 1500) had that feature as standard equipment and it was really convenient. What through me, was some of the descriptions found on Amazon, which are quite lofty, having you...
  14. Android Auto and other forms of Mental Anguish..

Hi Yinzcity, I've got 2 questions for you... 1. (hope this isn't a dumb one, but) I'm not familiar with the Andriod Auto Adapters. Actually just loked and found several on Amazon. What all do they do? I mean, is it just an easier way to connect your phone to your truck, or is there some other...
  15. OEM Roll up bed cover from Ford

I've got the Peragon LimitedHD self folding bed cover and love it. It's pricey, but it's quality and fit are great. You also can easily remove it from the frame once folded back so you gain 100% of your bed space, if hauling a quad, motorcycle, or riding mower... It's pretty slick. Peragon...
  16. Lariat Headlight Flicker

Andrew, have you upped your Rangers battery charging capacity (BMS) in FORScan? Allot of the rogue electrical issues seem to disappear when you take it from 75% to 95%.

Hi Michael, I just posted this info that I think you may find helpful? https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/anyone-running-lt-tires-with-a-10-ply-rating-feedback.23103/post-518167
  18. Anyone Running LT Tires with a 10 Ply Rating....Feedback

Hey Grumpaw, I'm assuming you have 18's with the Lariat, as I have. I've done allot of research on this subject and there's a good bit to consider here. Presently I'm running a 2.5" level kit, 1.5" spacers and have removed my crash bars. I had intended to go from my current 265/60R18's to a 32"...
  19. Android Auto and other forms of Mental Anguish..

I didn't have Android Auto on my Samsung S-21, so I had to download the app. I do have the latest version of SYNC running, so I'm not super sure where the *hic up* is happening.
