That seems to be the questions for the people who are cheaping out on a catch can, no offense.
how many people have to post these pictures of crap in the their catch can before everyone just says “damn.. maybe I don’t want that going back into my system”
1.0 Number of miles since last dumped the catch can. 1000
2.0 ml / ounces of fluid collected (pour into a clear container and post up a photo),
I didn’t measure, but it filled the can up 3/4 of the way.
3.0 Type and grade of oil I'm using,
Castro’s Edge full synthetic 5w30. Changed 3 times...
What do you mean stock boost? Stock boost isn’t making that kind of power. The stock turbo isn’t capable of making that kind of power.
mods? What gear were the pulls done in?
You hit the nail on the head. Vast majority of people on this forum have no clue what they’re talking about. But then come over to the performance section of the forum to cry about what other people are doing to their vehicle.
Why risk damage to your vehicle with a tune? Why risk damage to your truck taking it off roading? Why risk damage to you truck taking it the track?
you know what else is lethal? Regular pump gas....
There is nothing wrong with running e85 in a vehicle that has the right fuel system and the...

I should do a write up. The pump needed modifying for the outlet and also different screws for the base plate. Pump is for the explorer st so a little modification was necessary. As far as I know I’m the only one who has done the job themselves instead of a shop.
You do realize that truck made thousands of hp and was using a ridiculous amount of nitrous, right? Comparing that to the few of us running e85 is stupid ✌?
Catch can is 100% worth it. You sound like you’re trying to justify being cheap over a mod you can do for cheap.
when I empty my catch can and pour out a tablespoon of oil that would have made its way into my intake how isn’t that worth it? Why don’t you take off your intercooler, pour a little...
Finally installed my xdi hpfp. As far as I know I’m the only one to install it himself, not a shop. Pain in the ass but it’s doable. Had to customize the outlet to fit the stock fuel line. Had to bend the other fuel line to fine the inlet. And you need different screws as well. Full e85 working...
