  1. Alignment issue/adjustable upper control arms?

The only thing I can think is either the guy who did the alignment doesn’t know what he’s doing OR the control arms are wrong for the leveling kit you installed. Manufacturer could’ve sent the wrong parts? It happens… Had that issue myself when I lifted mine. It ultimately lead to misalignment...
  2. Alignment issue/adjustable upper control arms?

Before I lifted mine, I had a leveling kit with 32ā€ tires and stock UCA’s. Never had a problem with alignment. Sounds like the guys at that shop need some practice… When I put a leveling kit on the wife’s Ranger, I had some extra UCA’s laying around (manufacturer sent me 2 sets with my lift kit)...
  3. Curious about tires

Tires are such a subjective thing… Lol the question really comes down to what kind of driving you do? Different AT tires handle certain terrain and conditions better than others. I spent months researching tires before I finally pulled the trigger on a set of Falken Wildpeak AT4’s. Reasoning was...
  4. How many miles on your 2.3L EcoBoost

65k miles on my ā€˜21 xlt 4x4. Few little issues here and there but nothing wrong with the truck itself. All the problems I’ve had were due to modifications I did. I think the wife has around 40-45k on her ā€˜19 xl fx4. Both are running strong!
  5. Spark plugs

I’m getting around to doing mine in the next month or so. I’ve been putting it off because I have a million other projects that are distracting me lol just under 65k miles. Probably time to get ā€˜er done. Any suggestions on brands? I’m not looking for any added power or anything fancy. OEM...
  6. Weird shifting and other strange happenings.

As far as rough shifting and less pep, that’s entirely possible. We all know these 10r80 transmissions can be finicky. Some get 100k miles without any issues, others seem to have problems at 10k. Depending on your mileage, it might be something to look into more in depth. Make sure you’re...
  7. Possible radar issue?

Mine did this once and I could never figure out what happened. Hasn’t happened since šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  8. Is this a GPS Tracker?

Yes it is, dealerships put these in vehicles in case they get stolen from their lots. My wife’s truck had one when we bought it used. I removed it and installed my own. I seriously doubt the dealership is tracking you but it gave me peace of mind removing it.
  9. 265/70/17 tires on 2020 SuperCab ?

I think it depends on 2wd or 4wd. The 4wd trucks sit slightly higher in the front and that tire size should fit, although it would be too close for my personal preference. Some guys have said they fit, others have said there’s slight rubbing on the crash bars. I guess there’s only one way to...
  10. Talk me out of it...:)

Not crazy, everyone has different needs and wants! I went the opposite way and downsized. Had an f150 for years, it doubled as my daily driver and work truck. When we moved out of town and I started my current job, I no longer needed a full size truck. The biggest thing I tow is my 12’ fishing...
  11. Driving vs Spot vs 7in Combo — what works best on the Ranger?

3ā€ ditch lights and 26ā€ light bar on the grille guard. Went with white, not sure what kelvin they are, probably 3000 I’d guess. Also have 3ā€ flush mount rear bumper lights. I use them more for camping and driving around the property than anything. Yellow might’ve been better for the ditch lights...
  12. Wheel Hub contact wear Ball joint/ Alignment?

Both my truck and the wife’s have the same marks. It’s your steering stops. Totally normal.
  13. Recommended service at 50K miles?

Right around 50k I had the transmission and differential fluid changed. Cost about $1200 for the dealership to do it. I’m at 62k now, next oil change I’ll probably do spark plugs and add some injector cleaning fluid when I fill up. Dealership told me that a fluid change for the front diff isn’t...
  14. Went wheel shopping today and came up empty. Any suggestions?

I never check the dates on these posts… Always a day late and a buck short! Lol Did you get anything for the stock wheels? I kept mine to put back on the truck if I ever sell it or have issues with these wheels. I’m weird about keeping stuff. Some call it hoarding šŸ˜‚
  15. Went wheel shopping today and came up empty. Any suggestions?

I went with some cheaper wheels I found on amazon. Rock Trix 17x9 25mm offset. I love em. Not sure if they make the color you’re looking for, I went with black to match the other stuff I’ve added to the truck. After tax, $640 for all 4.
  16. What’s the Most Useful Interior Upgrade You’ve Made?

Probably too much lol I’m one of those guys that believes in being prepared for everything… I’d rather have it and not need it type of mindset. I have a basic tool set I keep under the back seat, headlamp, jumper cables, portable air pump, rifle behind the back seat with some extra mags, gmrs...
  17. 33-35s and Front Lift Question

Do you know what the offset of your wheels are? I have a 3.5ā€ lift, 1.5ā€ blocks in the rear. I’m running 255/80/17 (33s) with crash bars removed, 12mm offset. My wheels stick out about 2ā€ further than stock. I think width is the bigger issue, not diameter. With my current setup, I could run 34s...
  18. What’s the Most Useful Interior Upgrade You’ve Made?

Haven’t really upgraded anything. Added seat covers, floor mats, and cup holder inserts to keep the interior clean. Other than that, the inside is stock. It’s what I keep in the truck that makes it useful, not upgrades to the cab itself.
  19. ABS issues

On the drive home and this morning going to work, no lights or warnings. Issue seemed to clear itself for now. Maybe just a glitch? No clue.
  20. ABS issues

Gotta see if I can find my scanner when I get home. I remember letting my buddy borrow it a while ago and I don’t remember if I ever got it back lol
