  1. Report your MPG

21.5 MPG after the first 1000 miles.
  2. Tonneau

Ordered a soft roll-up tonneau that is similar to the one I had on my previous truck for years without any issues. The price was right, install was easy, and I'm very happy with it so far. I like this style because I don't store items of value in the bed and I like to have easy access to the...
  3. Accident prevention system

Had my truck's system light up today when two people attempted to merge into the same lane, right in front of me, and then both jammed their brakes at 70 MPH. Fortunately I was on it as it happened but the system appeared to be on top of things too. Gotta love the Capital beltway on a Friday...
  4. Has anyone done a complete 2019 Ranger oil/filter change by themselves yet?

Two questions... 1. Part number for the fumoto valve(s) that fit our trucks. 2. How do you keep record of routine maintenance so Ford won't try to deny future warranty claims (knock on wood)?
  5. Automatic Transmission Adaptive Learning

After you get the gears to display on the dash (hitting plus sign on shifter, as Tyler pointed out) you can also limit your top gear by hitting the minus sign. Just hit the plus sign to get back to all 10 gears.
  6. Looking to Run 255/75R17s on Stock Wheels

This seems to be the setup I'm looking to run with a 2.5" leveling kit, but I can't find anything to confirm fitment. I'm thinking these 32.1" tall tires (only 10" wide) should work with minimal trimming and the crash bars in place but I want to be sure before I pull the trigger and order a set...
  7. SOLVED: Driver Side Frame 1/2 Lower, Shim Added to Rear Leaf Spring

Is this just the rear end, or is the front end off too? I plan to take a look at mine today. Thanks for all the info guys! Update: mine seems to be sitting level.
  8. New Look 3” level BFG White Out

    Details on setup? Looks great!
  9. Ranger on the Broken Arrow Trail Sedona, AZ

I spend a decent amount of time off-road in my trucks and it usually involves some fairly difficult areas...mud/ruts, ditches or washouts, steep grades, loose rock, etc. My 2014 Tacoma off-road did very well and I'm confident the Ranger will do equally well once I get the suspension and tires...
  10. Phone Mount

I don't use my phone while driving, other than having it linked up to SYNC. Still easily within reach when I get in/out of the truck and not in the way of any controls, vents, etc while it is stored there.
  11. Phone Mount

Bought this for about $10 on Amazon and a .5m Apple cord fits perfectly. Used a similar mount in my last truck without any issues. Simple, cheap, and it works well.
  12. What State Are You From?

Northern Virginia here, originally from MI.
  13. What car/truck are you replacing with the new Ranger?

2014 Toyota Tacoma 4-door off-road. Great truck, simple and reliable, but definitely behind the times compared to the Ranger.
  14. Biggest tires, no lift?

Just got this reply after I asked about ‘minor trimming required’ and fitment of 255/75R17 tires with a 2.5” leveling kit.... Normally "Minor Trimming" pertains to some plastics on the fender liner and the plastic valance on the front bumper. You might have to trim more since you'd like to run...
  15. Biggest tires, no lift?

Thanks! Please follow up as you learn more and I'll be sure do the same.
  16. Biggest tires, no lift?

Hello all. So...what is the verdict on 255/75R17s on stock wheels, with or without a 2.5" leveling kit? I see it mentioned a couple of times in this thread but no details yet. New Ranger owner here and I'm planning to run this tire size with a 2.5" leveling kit up front. Thanks!
