Insane it is. I got that quote from a dealer. I also talked to a Ford tech that actually does the installations. He said that is the cost. I am looking for an ASE mechanic that I can do all the setup work on the computer and he does the actual install. The search goes on. Googling my fingers off

I have the tuner in hand. Going rate at Ford dealer is between 450 and 500 dollars. Crazy for what they actually do. Researching the general area for an ASE mechanic that I can work with. Anyone have the install done in the 91764 area or within a reasonable travel distance?
