Good to know the feelings police are on top of the situation. Sometimes people need to be told they are a whiny, stupid, idiotic, etc. In fact, this world would be better if more people were shamed out of stupid behavior.
Caliper covers are for posers. Same as stick on vents, “racing stickers”, chrome covered (insert basically anything here), loud exhaust when not in a fast vehicle (Harley, Honda Civic, red neck trucks, etc.), wings not designed for aerodynamics, body kits, giant rims, “tucked wheels”, etc...
He makes a good point. I’ve seen many posts and threads about folks trying to retro fit their xlt to a lariat (ie leather, led lights, painted mirror caps, home link, engine cover etc). Albeit not a very helpful point, but a good point nonetheless.
I have heard of this issue. I had someone flash me last night with their high beams thinking I had mine on. They must have been surprised when my lights got even brighter when I showed them nope, low beams are blinding you.

I get what guys are saying in justifying your use of the truck. But my point is if I wanted to go off road, scratch up a vehicle and potentially break things on it, it would not be a brand new one and if it was, it wouldn’t be done until it is paid off. There are loads of better alternatives...
