I sold the 33x10.50s off the truck. I just found they looked to small. The Kendas themselves worked great but I wanted to go back to an AT since this year I have a few 10+ highway heavy trips coming up.
I took a shoot of moving up to a 34" tire as well. Toyo released the AT3 in a 34x10.50R17 D...
I started to build out a bit of an interior for the Ranger. I currently have a bench on the Driver Side Framed out in 20x20mm Extrusion. The Faces will all be 1/4ply and 1/2 ply on top so we can sit or stand on it. The front near the Wheel well is going to house a Battery in a box, with a DC-DC...
I am not super great and keep this thread up to date but here is the latest trip in the Ranger to Moab. We had 3 days ran 4 trails and had a nice relaxing time since we chose to rent and Air BNB.
Might as well update these a little with some of the trips I took since getting the SP.
Since getting the SP in early I have around 30 nights in it and the longest trip being 10 nights through 3 states with various types of wheeling and being generally hard on the camper without any issues.
Where do you have water leaking in from?
I know under heavy rain mine does because I never bothered to seal the bed caps before install, something I plan to redo this winter. I have never had leaking from anywhere above the bed rails, IE the camper itself have been perfectly sealed. But the...
Day 3
Overland Expo
I have been to Expo West each year since 2018 except in 2020 when it didn't happen. Working in the Overland industry is nice but it also means that I have seen just about everything on display at the show and really only go either to work, or catch up with other vendors that...
Day 2
From Monticello to Flagstaff.
Another Road day however I needed to be down here By Sunday Morning to do a little bit of work at the show.
The Drive isn't the most fun but overall still has some cool places, and roads that I do want to explore in the future.
We were in and out rain most...
Day 1
This Trip was to get down to Overland Expo West, and they spend a week after traveling around. Arizona, Utah, and Colorado.
This Day was Just a Road day, we drove from my house down about 7 hours to Just outside Monticello Utah where I had a Campsite picked out from exploring on a...
They are a great slider for how I use them but do have some hang up points on the frame if you were planning on using them on a full on crawler. I don't do that so I don't really mind plus it made the install a absolute breeze and only about and hour and a half total.
Yup the standard 15 degree angle on these. Its still enough to step on and climb up with, but I like the look better and tends to slide very slightly better on rocks.
A few pictures of the new Super Pacific on the Ranger. As well as the fact I probably forgot to show that I installed a set of White Knuckle Sliders a week earlier.
