great point Phil. Pressure gauges can vary quite a bit. Although giving a rougher ride, a couple lbs overinflated is better than being underinflated. Too much sidewall flex can lead to a zipper rupture.
I know you're anxious, but give the dealer a chance to do a proper prep. I worked in dealerships for over 30 years. Ford & GM both. One example. Sold F150 came off hauler & sales called customer right away, Then brought back work order for prep & clean. I raised it on my hoist & started my...
Damn DannyL. Hard to believe that our trucks were built on the same day. I know I'm a lot closer than you to the assembly plant but still. Probably tired of hearing this, but it will make it someday. Once it shows up it will be the best truck ever.
I got my trailer brake installed yesterday. Used a Tekonsha Primus IQ controller. Managed to break 2 mounting clips removing panels searching for controller wires Damn near got stuck under dash trying to hook up harness. what a job. My old butt isn't used to doing this kind of work anymore. So...

Right on DannyL. Mine was also built today. HooHaa. I think FoMoCo is trying to give me a heart attack though. Shiped to Maumee Ohio in 29 days? Hell , I could jump on my Silverwing & be at the assembly plant in an hour and half.
The first 3 to 5 yrs on the 4.0 sohc was a nightmare. Once Ford got the bugs worked out, it was pretty dependable. Own one myself, nice & quiet. Runs like a top. But, mine is in my 2011 Ranger.
Just remember guys, there,s about a gazillion things going on under the hood all the time. I worked on Fords for over 20 yrs. Believe me, whenever a customer bought something new that different technology than they were used to, it took a while for them to understand it. the 4.9 inline 6 was...
I can remember everything on the list. We had milk delivery & you had to remember to bring it in off the porch in the winter. Frozen milk bottles were a big mess. One quickie, what did the lesbian frog say to the other one? I guess we do taste like chicken.
