The nice thing about the AUX switches the Tremor has is all you have to to do is tap into the provided wire harness from the AUX Relay box and then find a suitable grounding location. You do not need the provided switch or relay that Rigid ships with their lights.
What I would do is figure out...
Yep all in Utah. one was out near Five Mile Rec. on the Pony Express Trail last year. The later one was on this road near Lincoln Highway on the South West Side of the Great Salt Lake, that one was interesting and despite the way the road looks it required me to lock the rear diff and 4x4.
They were nice steps, but I just dont see a purpose to them on a pickup like this with the stock height. They were hurting my breakover on some obstacles and I could hear them dragging :S
I don't remember exactly what I did on this one as it was my FX4.
However to the best of my memory I got some amazon cheap LED lights.
As far as mounting the wires I got some simple adhesive wire retaining clips and ran them underneath the bed rails and on the rack to their respective...
Sadly these came from a Trigger Six-Shooter aux power system, I had it on my other Ranger that passed away...and just decided they would be good use on the new one.
I am sure if you contacted you might be able to get a sheet of them.
However when it is dark they are impossible to see, I want to...
It makes it a bit difficult, I have to angle it to get it in. Getting it out is a bit easier, just drop the tail gate and roll it forward.
With that though it is pretty minor issue to me, if I had to take two bikes that might be a problem with all my other cargo.
One day I want to get one of...
Some of my co-workers gave me crap for buying a new one instead of used back in April... I saw stuff exactly like this then and it's gotten worse. .
I just cant understand buying a used one at 90%-120% of the price of a new one...
Sorry to hear about your ranger.
That amount of damage likely isnt going to be anywhere near totaled. If anything you may just have to drive a rental car around for a bit until you can get your Ranger fixed.
What I would recommend is getting it into the repair shop and go through your insurance...
I am selling the Side Step/Step Hoops off of my Tremor for $150. They are in good condition be it a little dirty. I would prefer local pickup or something similar that can be arranged within a 200 miles of Draper Utah.
It's unlikely you are going to experience a lot of the issues on these forums. I have had 2 rangers in the last year and have loved them both. I had no issues on the first one until it's demise and no issues on the current one yet.
You have to remember the issues you see posted on here are a...
It doesn't look totaled, it may depend on the estimate.... But I would say good chance it will get fixed and you'll get it back.
Would suck to lose a truck right now, you can't get anything right now.
I find it far more useful in the fact the truck doesn't need to be running to use it, unless he is getting out while it's running it's just far more convenient in my opinion.
I know that feeling, when I am completely done with my setup I will have all but AUX 1 connected to something and that...
Alternatively if whatever you get has switch, there is a 12v supply that is runs off of the trucks PMS that you can tap into on the drivers side underneath and near to the rear of the bed box.
The only downside is having to switch it on from the outside instead of using the AUX switches, the...
