Mine as well, I do like the convenience of the wiring above the bumper and the connectors having more weather protection so I bit the bullet and ordered these parts. I may never use the 7 pin but at least it is there if I ever need it.
Well I went to my dealer with the part information provided here for my truck and have the parts on order. Thanks for the info here guys, once again helpful. I went with the Curt hitch, only because the OEM one is back ordered with no ETA and spring boat towing in the near future for me. Already...
I would like one but I live in Ontario, Canada. My dealer doesn't seem to have a clue about what parts are needed because they just finished telling me I'll have to after market to add the 7 pin bumper plug.
I second what has been said here and agree that knob is way too easy to turn by accident. In my 2006 Tacoma it was on the dash and not the console and it was a more intentional action to engage the 4wd system.
Thanks for expanding on that, I do wonder though if the outputs are really any different and if someone swapped the speakers if the sound would be much different. The stereo is certainly one thing that I have on my list to upgrade on my XLT.
Hi Julie thanks for the pics I'm looking at this same racking system its nice to see it fitted on the same colour Ranger as mine. I noticed you also have the hood deflector as well, would you mind posting a pic from the front so I could get a look at that and share which deflector you purchased?
I agree with this. It is better for sure. Seems to hold lower gears longer now before shifting and perhaps as RCMUSTANG has said skips gears, I’ll have check for that now.
I just took my Ranger in for the TSB this morning, they updated the PCM software I hope to see the same results. Thanks for posting this, was helpful to be able to walk in and quote the TSB.
For the stock head lamps in the NA Ranger and compared it to the shots of the lamp in the link I provided. The fasteners all seemed to be in the same spot and the housing looked right, however its hard to tell for sure.
Here is a listing I found:

Again the question is, will they fit. I looked up the housing in the service manual and...
That's the thing I've checked them while it has been happening and there is nothing on the exterior of the sensor, no ice, snow or dirt. That is why I thought of the undercoating.
Good day all, both my front sensors left and right side have been doing this intermittently since I got the truck. I am wondering if there is more to the story here. One thing I will say is that I had my truck rust proofed which would have involved spraying the underside. Perhaps some of that...
