2nd oil change today at 9100 miles. Made the switch from the Motorcraft semi-syn to Mobil-1 full syn 5-30. Sticking with the Motorcraft FL-910S filter.

I have done this twice but on my Husky 701. I think it's all doable in a ranger with the locker. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if interest picks up again. I'm in Spokane. Dirty Steve dirt

Leave tailgate on, carabiners in the tailgate latches, tiedowns from carabiners to footpegs to pull the tallgate up as far as you can. The Ranger has the smallest latches ever. I haven't come across a good set of tie downs small enough to fit in them so I had to use carabiners.

Gently get a corner to lift up using your nail. Pull slowly and gently and you can usually get a large section at a time. Took me about 5 min per side.

Dean, I had actually come across your mod before I bought my Ranger. I was thinking, how can you miss the key in the hole. After a week of misses, I pulled the trigger on your glow in the dark version. Congrats to you for being the 1st mod on my new ride !
