I returned mine after one day of use. The blower motor was heavily labored due to this filter being much more dense than the stock filter. I was able to luckily pick up an in stock replacement at the dealership at cost
I just got rid of my muffler delete that had the resonator, it was unbearable while pulling my travel trailer. So much drone, but great when I wasn't pulling. Installed Borla
Thank you sir, well worth the upgrade, make sure not to damage the gasket when disconnecting from the turbo, had to special order one, only took 3 days though. They are reusable if careful when separating
Yes this is a late reply. Better than never. I have the SPD catted down pipe and when I take my tune off I have no issues. I drive with no tune for several days at a time when I take my truck into the shop.
Installed AEM boost gauge and AFE Catted downpipe. My wife even loves the crackles. Livernois tune seems improved for shifting after downpipe install, not such a hard shift anymore. Have already been asked what motor swap I had done ? The modded F-250 thought it was a diesel, lmao
I just installed the Purolator boss and the reduction in airflow was way too drastic for me to use . I am switching back to my dirty filter until the replacement from Amazon arrives.
Ford is replacing the turbo due to boost loss. Started making sounds at 13,000 miles. Now at 25,000 and they are replacing it. I pull a 6800lb travel trailer full time wet.
I use the equalizer weight distribution system. It works so much better than the Eaz-Lift Trekker. Night and day difference. I've pulled my 247bh at 90mph just to test, due to the fact that the trekker didn't last a 4 day 2200 mile trip
Make sure that you set up your weight distribution properly. the manual will be your best friend I encourage you to read the whole thing as I did. There are so many steps you have to follow exactly in order to make sure it is set up correctly. it is very easy to go over the rear axle maximum...
I was getting 8 miles per gallon at 65 to 75 miles per hour. I was getting 12 miles to a gallon at 55 miles an hour. On inclines is where it hits worse than I have seen in any other truck. Sometimes I would only make it 120 miles on a tank. The truck pulled great until the Trekker Eazlift sway...
