I successfully did the BCM reset yesterday with the high beam/brake peddle trick. I also discovered that the passenger side front and back door DO function with the intelligent access, while the driver side front and back DO NOT function.
I did try my other fob, and it didn’t work either.
I don’t even know what the BMS is, much less how to reset it. My local garage replaced the battery, so I don’t know if they reset the BMS or not. How do you reset it?
I recently discovered that my Intelligent Access is not working at all. I’m referring to the feature that allows me to lock and/or unlock the truck by touching the handle, as long as I have the fob in my pocket. I’ve read through the forum for similar posts, but they all suggest that it’s the...
Well, that’s certainly unfortunate. I was really hoping there would be a similar way to manipulate the Ranger wiring as well.?
Thanks for the answer.
Has anyone tried changing the wiring of the Morimoto XB headlights to make the DRL’s amber? I watched a YT video of a XB installation on a Tacoma that showed changing the wires in the harness to use the amber turn signals as the DRL, and still have them function as turn signals. Essentially...
I'm sure that's helpful, but I don't even know what that means. I'm just a dumb guy trying to drive my truck...I don't know how to "flash it back to 222000".?‍♂️
Moreover, it doesn't seem like I should have to do any extraneous programming or flashing to my vehicle. It seems like Ford should...
I’m suddenly experiencing the exact same issue with my display. I never listen to the radio, but nonetheless, every time I start the truck, the FM radio is blasting away. I also keep my display on the “Night” mode. But again, every time I start the truck, it has reverted back to the “Auto” mode...
I agree with you 100%! This has been an ongoing gripe with me since I got my truck last year. I posted essentially the same question last year, and thus far have found a solution.
I would like for the DRLs and the mirror marker lights to all function together, and amber all the way around...
I’m happy that Rangers are finally getting some aftermarket love. I’m sure others will follow now. I’m also hoping that the “adjustable” DRL’s give the option of shutting off the bright white ring completely. I prefer the aesthetics of amber in the front, so the sequential turn signals will look...
Are we still talking about the lighting questions? Because I'm very interested in that answer. Mokume, we are kindred spirits, because I feel the same way about them that you do.
I don't, however, care about all y'all's various warranty issues. haha
