> 26 MPG would make a big impression with potential owners I think. And totally achievable for the US 4x2 if the Mexican market XLT 4x4 is already getting 26 MPG.
I doubt Ford will offer that since they probably want to keep it exclusive to the Ranger Raptor. But the aftermarket should have you covered. The F-150 has many aftermarket Raptor style grilles available.
Hey Aaron welcome to R5G! I'm not quite ready to order yet but seeing members talk about preordering already has me antsy to order.
What's your Ranger spec gonna be?
I don't think the online builder is working 100% properly yet since it just came online so accessories may still be missing for now. In any case I'm sure we'll be seeing more and more accessories added as we get closer to launch. Production doesn't start for another 3+ months.
Really hope we get the 2.7L Ecoboost instead of the 2.3L. The 2.7L was a Ward's best engine 2018 winner - https://www.wardsauto.com/engines/2018-winner-ford-f-150-27l-ecoboost-twin-turbo-v-6
Now that Ranger official prices are released and tops out at low 40k (with options added), we should probably expect that the 2020 Ranger Raptor pricing will be low-mid 40k.
Reasonable pricing and as I expected. Pricing starts and tops out at similar pricing to the Tacoma.
Anyone see tow rating published anywhere? I don't see it.
Hah was this an intentional leak? Seems like manufacturers are often "accidentally" revealing their configurators ;)
Either way it's cool to see and play with early. What's everyone configuring?
I read elsewhere this statement from Ford on the configurator:
The configurator went up early...
First off, salesmen know less than what's posted on enthusiast forums. Secondly, the Ranger Raptor hasn't even been announced for the US market yet, although it's been spotted testing here recently, which likely signals that it will come to the North American market. But seeing as how Ford...
I think it'll start at low 40's for Ranger Raptor. That's about the same price as a TRD Pro Tacoma and ZR2 Colorado which will be its direct competition. I don't think it'll hit mid-40s cuz that starts to cannibalize F150 (XLT/Lariat/Sport models) sales. And Ford will not let the Ranger eat into...
I hope that's the case. As I said in the other thread, I would prefer a gas engined Ranger Raptor. I think diesel makes more sense for the Bronco than it does for the Ranger, at least for the Raptor model. Raptor models are meant for face paced high speed high HP offroading which isn't diesel's...
Interesting if this turns out to be diesel Ranger Raptor. IMO diesel makes more sense for the Bronco than it does for the Ranger, at least for the Raptor model. Raptor models are meant for face paced high speed high HP offroading which isn't diesel's strong suit. A diesel engine's low end...
Thanks for posting the chart. The widths are definitely surprisingly close. But it's the length that makes the F150 too big for me. 20" more length is a much longer truck and makes it harder to deal with in my eye.
Look at the difference in horsepower and torque though wow.
