  1. Shocks and Struct labor cost

The Ford Performance kit is set to a 2" ride height in the front. The Stage 3 is set to 3". I believe this has to do with the UCA and stress on those components. Also helps to prevent the nose high ride. Cant answer your question about the rubbing part though. If yours is currently at 2.5"...
  2. Shocks and Struct labor cost

I would use Levitttown Ford pricing for negotiation. Last I checked the Stage 3 kit wasn't the Ford Performance kit. Different in ride height and Ford only honors the warranty for the Ford Performance kit. If warranty is important to you that is.
  3. Shocks and Struct labor cost

Jarrett Gordon Ford in Davenport 27/I4 quoted me $359 install providing I buy the kit from them. Best I could find in the area. Once I get my truck fixed up from small warranty issues, I will probably move on that. $375 is a good price as well. Others in the area quoted me over $1k just for...
  4. Windshield cracked using defroster

I am guessing he retired long ago.... His replacement needs more training.
  5. Windshield cracked using defroster

They couldnt find a chip on mine and Ford denied it so unfortunately SOL. No insurance?
  6. Windshield cracked using defroster

Yea I would make them show you. I would go with OEM but thats just me. I didnt think there was aftermarket glass available yet? Safelite had to order mine direct from Ford as they didnt have any aftermarket options, still waiting for it too.
  7. Headliner sagging

This is exactly why I don't give them a pass. It was a mechanic, not a body shop tech that did the work. But it is also a fault of lack of information as the headliner replacement parts diagram. The attachment is shown but its not labeled as such. I confused it as the dome light but now it...
  8. Windshield cracked using defroster

That should fall under their 12k/1 year warranty. Be prepared to fight for it though.
  9. Headliner sagging

I have to go back to the dealer for another issue (seatbelt bucket getting replaced) so will use this as a teaching moment for them since they don't know there is an attachment point there. They need to make it right.
  10. Headliner sagging

So I am not losing my mind. Check this out. Removed the dome light and stuck my phone up there and took a pic. The attachment mount is ripped off the headliner. The gray foam isn’t attached to the roof. It’s just a spacer block. This attachment holds it up. Now to fight with the dealer on...
  11. Headliner sagging

Going to pop out my dome light tomorrow to see if those gray blocks are there. I doubt they are. As for magnets this is a pic from f150 I found on eBay. You can see the support with what appears to be magnets on the top. I wonder if the Ranger gray blocks have magnets on them as well.
  12. Headliner sagging

The question is, is there a magnet at all?
  13. Headliner sagging

Interesting. Thanks for this info. Wish I could see engineering manuals on this to see what is supposed to be there or not there.
  14. Headliner sagging

Thanks! Appreciate that. This is the thread I found referencing a magnet. Going to message him as well. https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/dome-light-removal.3498/
  15. Headliner sagging

Yours has a lot of play behind the dome light? Like it is missing a support block or attachment point? Have you ever had the headliner out?
  16. Headliner sagging

I didn't plan on a DIY fix. But figured someone here might know that has pulled the liner out... Trying to get as much information as possible.
  17. Headliner sagging

If it were out of warranty I might do that, however I have no problem pushing back on the dealer especially since they caused the problem. They are obligated to fix it. And I really do want to know if there is anything holding up the headliner to the metal roof or not. Magnet, adhesive, foam...
  18. Headliner sagging

Is that how it is supposed to be or is that just a hack? I want the dealer to fix it the right way since they caused the issue. There was another post where the owner said there was a magnet right behind the dome light holding it to the roof. This would make sense as that would prevent it from...
  19. Headliner sagging

I found a 2020 used on the lot and there is no play behind the dome light so something is definitely missing. Now trying to convince the tech something isnt right which is proving to be a challenge. Anyone know what this part is circled in red? Originally thought it was the dome light but...
  20. Headliner sagging

At the dealer now and all they have is a 2021 which has no sag at the dome light. Solid like it should be. Service guy told me they changed them for 2021 which I have to look at parts diagram to see if they are different. I don’t have access to another 19 to compare too.
