    And that might be some of the difference as I had cruise set at 72. Avg speed for the trip was 48mph. (We took our son and daughter-in-law to lunch at a "gastro pub" near their home).

    Surprise, AZ to Tucson and back. 27.1 mpg. 2021 XLT 4WD on original Bridgestones. 53K+ miles. I hadn't driven it since April 15th and wanted to stretch it a wee bit.

  16. Tacoma reliability

    My last Toyota pickup was before they were called Tacoma... a manual SR5 4WD with 22RE engine, and an extra cab. It was charcoal gray. As I recall, the best fuel mileage it attained was 25mpg, and I loved it. I wish I could remember the year model. I would drive it again, if I could.
